Everybody doing selection, but the selection inadvertently is a compulsion. Suppose you get angry right now. You have chosen to be angry. Somewhere you believe that this is the way to handle or handle the situation, but it has been chosen so unconsciously that it became a compulsion. This is
happening on a different ground, so you are living with the selections, but selections are conducted without any awareness subliminal selections. Now the whole issue is to move towards conscious choice. Even a simple thing, like when you wake up in the morning, your unconscious choice is that you don't want get up.
When the sun rises, you pull your sheet up to your face and cover it. Do you realize it? This is an unconscious selections. Your body wants to stay in bed a little longer. For all reasons it does not want to get up. In the experience of little, all such aspects of life are such that in many ways unconsciously you are not keen on the present day . suppose tomorrow you plan to go on a picnic . Do you see on that day you will wake up before the sun rises ? You did this consciously on the previous day, you are excited for it. You are waiting tomorrow, because picnic is a delightful experience. Otherwise, you unconsciously try to pull the sheet over the face. Because light is not something that is waiting for. Because a lot of things come with light, such as the price of today's stock market, today's problems, the whole world comes into your life. In such a situation you unconscious choice to wake up. Even after you wake up there is an unconscious selection that you want to drink a cup of tea, the body feels better than that. But now you make a conscious choice - no, i will bathe in cold water and do yoga. The path of time or penance was created just because then you start doing such things which are inconvenient for you, you do not like that work, but you still do it. If you have to do something that you don't like, you can do it only by being conscious, there is no other way to do it. That is, the things you like to do, you can also do it in a forced way. But the things you do not like, you can only do them consciously, because there is no other way. Now you are slowly practicing how to be alert in different
situations in your life when you are hungry, the natural approach is to pounce on food and start eating Now you make a conscious choice that i am hungry, but i am not going to eat. Keeping yourself away from food, there is no other option for this except being conscious. You do not need any consciousness to go and eat. If you are hungry, then you can just go and start eating. This simple thing has been brought in life, so that you start making things with more awareness in various aspects of your life. The purpose of increasing awareness is to make your life go slowly. The one thing that it does all. Its main aspect is that if you can maintain awareness in different situations of life. Only then you will be able to be aware in that movement when you have to leave this body. Otherwise this situation will never arise in your life.
